Abstract

Toddler periode is a key periode in child growth and become foundation for further development. Growth and development of children one of them influenced the support of parents. But, in this modern era, not the least of parents who does not understand and emulate health practices for her child. The study aims to know the description about mother’s behavior of anticipatory guidance for toddler in the village of wonorejo sub district polokarto district sukoharjo. The study design use quantitative research type with descriptive survey method. The study sample was 63 respondents who obtained using proporsional random sampling method. Results of the study mother’s behavior of anticipatory guidance for toddler, 60,3% respondents behave well in giving nutrition, 55,6% respondents behave well in improving home security, 52,4% respondents behave well in discussing physical and psychological readiness for toilet training, 58,7% respondents behave deficient in negativism, 50,8% respondent behave deficient in preventing cavities. Conclusion the study is most of the mother’s behavior of anticipatory guidance in the provision of nutrient, improve home security, and discuss physical and psychological readiness for toilet training for toddler is nice, but mother’s 2 behavior of anticipatory guidance on cavity prevention and negativism is a deficient.
