Abstract
This research paper examines how identity and inclusion are represented in The Greatest Showman (2017), using qualitative research methods that include textual and thematic analyses. Based on the story of P.T. Barnum, the movie has many characters who are marginalized by society, posing serious issues about inclusion and belonging. Although this movie has an interesting story and positive themes, it has been criticized due to the fact that it tends to simplify real issues encountered by marginalized communities. By observing the movie and reading academic sources, this research will reveal important themes that are connected to identity and diversity. There are several limitations of the study that should be mentioned, such as the narrow scope that is restricted only by one film, the subjective nature of people's perceptions and the possibility of bias while conducting the analysis. Moreover, the historical background and cultural imagery presented in the film may not fully reflect the complexity of the current social issues. Thematic analysis will reveal common themes in the presentation of identity and make connections between them and theoretical ideas. Conclusion As you see, his research is aimed at revealing the effect of the film on the society's perception of identity. This issue is important nowadays in the context of discussions about the necessity of diversity in the media. Therefore, the analysis of The Greatest Showman is essential for the further research of the topic. Keywords: Acceptance, Textual Reading, Literary Sociology Theory,
