Abstract
Gemolong District in Sragen Regency has considerable agricultural and livestock potential, particularly goat farming. However, livestock production, feed provision, waste management, and educational activities are still relatively separated, limiting the efficiency and sustainability of the agribusiness system. This design aims to develop an educational agribusiness area that integrates goat farming, forage provision, waste management, educational activities, and supporting agribusiness functions within one coordinated area. The design method consists of literature review, precedent study, field observation and data collection, site analysis, space requirement analysis, and design synthesis. A sustainable architecture approach guides decisions concerning resource efficiency, environmental quality, and functional relationships. The proposed area covers approximately 3.5 hectares and was selected based on spatial-plan compatibility, environmental conditions, land capacity, development potential, accessibility, and low conflict with surrounding settlements. The area is organized into public, semi-public, production, and service/support zones. Visitor circulation is separated from operational circulation. Agribusiness integration is implemented through a cycle in which livestock manure is processed into organic fertilizer for forage cultivation, while harvested forage is returned as livestock feed. Natural lighting and ventilation, vegetation, open spaces, and horizontal massing are applied to improve comfort and environmental sustainability.
