Abstract
The rapid growth of the construction sector in Indonesia has increased the demand for building materials, particularly lightweight concrete (Autoclaved Aerated Concrete/AAC), which is known for its lightweight properties, precision, and good thermal insulation. This condition requires production facilities that can efficiently supply such materials. This project proposes the design of a lightweight concrete factory located in the Batang Integrated Industrial Estate (KITB), a strategic industrial area with an eco-industrial park concept and integrated infrastructure. The main issues addressed are how to design an industrial building that supports the production process and how to implement a sustainable architecture approach. The method includes literature studies, precedent studies, data analysis, and concept formulation. The result is a factory design concept that emphasizes spatial efficiency, circulation systems, and long-span structural systems. Sustainable architecture principles are applied through energy efficiency, water conservation, environmentally friendly materials, and waste management. The design is expected to support optimal production activities while minimizing environmental impact.
