Abstract

This study aims to identify the branding strategies employed by Telaga Kusuma Tourism Village through Instagram to attract public interest. The rapid growth of tourism villages in Indonesia demands effective branding management to ensure their sustainability and widespread recognition. Instagram, as a visual-based social media platform, is utilized as a marketing communication tool to introduce tourism potential to the public. This study employs a qualitative method with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. Data was obtained from the tourism village’s marketing team, analyzed, and used to draw conclusions. The study’s objective is to demonstrate that Instagram plays a crucial role in the branding strategy of Telaga Kusuma Tourism Village, particularly through visual content such as feeds, Reels, and Stories, which can increase visitor engagement and interest. The strategies implemented include creating content on Instagram, promoting the village through accounts with a large reach, and engaging directly with the audience via digital messages. This study aims to demonstrate that the creative and consistent use of social media can enhance the image of the tourism village and support local economic development.
