Abstract
This research discusses the communication strategy of the Airsoft Gun community in attracting new members using the AIDDA theory. According to Ruslan (2023), the AIDDA model is a persuasive communication framework consisting of Attention, Interest, Desire, Decision, and Action, designed to guide the audience toward desired response or behavior. This research is expected to serve as a reference for other communities in building communication. This study adopts a qualitative approach, with data gathered through in-depth interviews, documentation and direct field observations. Based on the interview results, the community applies various strategies to attract attention, build interest, create desire, encourage decisions, and ensure the action of joining. They hold open events, provide education, and such as free game trials to increase public interest. In addition, the community offers convenience in the registration process to help prospective members make decisions.
