Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability, leverage, and company size on firm value in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2022–2024 period. Firm value is an important indicator because it reflects investors’ perceptions of company performance, risk, and future prospects. This study employs a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. The data used are secondary data obtained from annual financial statements of manufacturing companies accessed through the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange and company publications. The sample is selected using purposive sampling based on specific criteria, including companies consistently listed during the research period, publishing complete annual financial statements, providing data related to the research variabels, and presenting financial reports in Indonesian rupiah. The independent variabels consist of profitability, proxied by Return on Assets; leverage, proxied by debt to equity ratio; and company size, measured by the natural logarithm of total assets. The dependent variabel is firm value, proxied by price to book value or Tobin’s Q. Data are analyzed using descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. This study is expected to provide empirical evidence regarding internal financial factors that influence firm value in manufacturing companies.
