Abstract
While digital securities applications like Ajaib Security have facilitated faster and easier transactions, they also present consumers with legal risks, especially in the areas of information transparency, limit fund usage, and investor rights protection, all of which have been accelerated by the expansion of information technology in Indonesia. Financial Services Authority Regulation Number 6/POJK.07/2022 establishes standards for online stock trading transactions that use Ajaib Security, and this research intends to examine such standards, together with the accountability of business actors and legal resolution methods, to ensure that customers are adequately protected. With the use of primary and secondary legal sources, this research employs a normative legal methodology that combines a legislative and case approach. While the findings demonstrate that consumer protection laws have been largely controlled via preventative and punitive measures aimed at the capital market and consumers, there are still gaps in practice, particularly when it comes to consumers' awareness of potential dangers. Businesses might face several types of responsibility, including civil, administrative, contractual, and even criminal liability under certain circumstances. Disputes can be resolved by internal processes, LAPS SJK, or litigation.
