Abstract

Ponorogo Regency boasts a variety of attractive tourist destinations for both local and international visitors. However, information on the shortest routes to these destinations is still suboptimal due to limited data. This results in lost travel time, reduced enthusiasm for travel, and increased risk of accidents due to unsafe route choices. Addressing these issues, a Shortest Path algorithm is needed to find the shortest route to tourist destinations in Ponorogo Regency. This research aims to reduce travel time and provide accurate shortest route information. The method used is the Dijkstra algorithm, specifically the weights. Nodes are represented as points at each location, edges are paths connecting each destination point, and weights are the distance from the starting point to the destination point. The results show that the developed system obtains the shortest path optimally because it has positive weights. Thus, the Dijkstra algorithm successfully improves user convenience in receiving shortest route information with minimal travel time.
