Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of Islamic Education (PAI) and Characteristics learning based on the “Rumah Pendidikan” digital platform, the impact of using the platform on students' learning motivation, and the constraints faced during the implementation process. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with phenomenological method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The research informants consisted of the Vice Principal of Curriculum, the Islamic Education teacher, and Grade VII-G students of SMP Negeri 1 Kartasura. The results indicate that the implementation is carried out through a systematic instructional management cycle including planning using the ATM (Observe, Mimic, and Modify) method, an integrative actuating stage, and evaluating using digital student worksheets (LKPD). The utilization of educational video content and interactive teaching tools significantly increases students' learning motivation both intrinsically and extrinsically. The transformation of media from textual to visual-digital converted learning barriers into enthusiasm and created a fun learning atmosphere. Main constraints include the rigidity of PDF file formats, limited variety of Islamic Education content on the portal, and visual infrastructure barriers related to projector quality and layout.
