Abstract

Efficient inventory management is crucial for grocery stores to ensure product availability and maintain customer satisfaction. Toko Bapak Hasim still relies on a manual inventory system, creating several operational issues such as stock tracking difficulties, limited access to product information, delayed customer service, and human error. This research aims to develop an Android-based inventory management application tailored to the store’s operational needs. The system was developed using the Waterfall method with Android Studio and Firebase Realtime Database. The application provides real-time stock monitoring, low-stock notifications, expiration alerts, and barcode scanning features. Testing was conducted using black-box testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The results show that all system functions operated successfully and the application achieved an average user acceptance score of 87%.
