Abstract
Low Back Pain (LBP) is a musculoskeletal disorder commonly experienced by workers due to static work posture, long work duration, and psychosocial factors such as work stress. Female tailors are at risk of experiencing LBP because they work in a sitting position for long periods with high production target demands. This study aims to determine the relationship between work duration and work stress with low back pain complaints among female tailors at CV. Agogo Garment Indonesia Boyolali. This study used a quantitative observational design with a cross-sectional approach. The population and sample in this study were all female tailors at CV. Agogo Garment Indonesia Boyolali, totaling 60 people using total sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires covering respondent characteristics, work duration, work stress (Likert scale), LBP complaints (The Pain and Distress Scale questionnaire), and pain intensity using the Visual Analog Scale (VAS). Data analysis used the chi-square test. The results showed no significant relationship between work duration and LBP complaints (p=0.126), but there was a significant relationship between work stress and LBP complaints (p=0.048). It is recommended that workers manage stress and perform stretching exercises, and that companies create a conducive work environment.
