Abstract
The rapid population growth in Jakarta has increased the demand for vertical housing, yet high-rise building design in this region faces challenges from active seismic risks and soft soil conditions. This study aims to design a 10-story apartment building structure in South Jakarta using the Special Moment Resisting Frame System (SMRF) in accordance with SNI 1726:2019 and SNI 2847:2019. Structural analysis was performed using ETABS 2022 software via the response spectrum method. Results indicate that the structure meets seismic safety requirements, with cumulative mass participation ratios reaching 90% by the 5th mode. Inter-story drift remains below the designated allowable limits. The substructure design utilizes bored pile foundations with an 800 mm diameter at a depth of 30 meters to ensure stability against settlement in Jakarta's soft soil.
