Abstract

Mount Lawu with an altitude of 3,265 meters above sea level is located on the border of Central Java and East Java, and is one of the popular climbing destinations in Indonesia. As the number of climbers increases, various challenges arise, such as the lack of information about climbing, the risk of hypothermia, and the lack of adequate information systems. This research aims to develop a web-based Mount Lawu climbing information system using the Laravel framework with a mobile-friendly interface. The system is designed to provide climbing route information, climb preparation, emergency handling such as hypothermia, as well as online ticketing. The development method used is the waterfall method, including the planning, analysis, design, implementation, and testing stages. The research results show that the Mount Lawu climbing information system functions as needed based on black box testing and is deemed feasible and easy to use, with a System Usability Scale (SUS) score of 82.25. This system assists climbers and managers in effectively conveying information and supports the safe and sustainable digitalization of Mount Lawu tourism
