Abstract
Famora is a location-based family security and protection application designed to help reduce the risk of abuse. The background of this research is based on the high number of violence cases and the limitations of security applications that still rely on manual activation. Therefore, Famora integrates real-time location tracking technology and voice recognition-based emergency detection that allows users to send danger signals without physical interaction with the device. Development was carried out using the Waterfall method, which includes the stages of planning, design, implementation, testing, and deployment. The application was built on Android with Flutter, Firebase, and Google Maps for location services. Key features include user authentication, family group management, communication via chat, monitoring the location of family members, and emergency activation via a secret word. The system was evaluated through Black Box testing and the System Usability Scale (SUS). The test results showed that all key features functioned as required. The average SUS score of 79.86 indicates that the application is in the good category. Thus, Famora is considered a viable medium for supporting family safety that can improve the effectiveness of emergency communication and user safety.
