Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of five internal bank factors, namely cash holding liquidity, operational efficiency, capital adequacy ratio, proportion of independent board of commissioners, and company size on net interest margin. This empirical quantitative study was conducted on companies in the banking sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2020–2024. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling, resulting in a total of 135 units of analysis. The analysis method used was multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study provide empirical evidence that operational efficiency and capital adequacy ratio have a significant effect on net interest margin. Meanwhile, the variables of cash holding liquidity, proportion of independent board of commissioners, and company size do not have a significant effect on net interest margin.
