Abstract

The development of information technology has brought significant changes to marketing strategies, shifting from conventional methods to more effective digital platforms capable of reaching a wider market. Kampung Kopi Gunung Tambal, as a local coffee farming community, still faces challenges in its marketing activities due to the suboptimal use of digital media, resulting in the coffee products’ potential not being fully maximized. This study aims to design a website-based e-commerce system using the Laravel framework and to evaluate the feasibility of the system as a marketing medium. The system was developed using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Waterfall model, which includes the stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance in a structured manner. The testing process employed the Black Box method to ensure that all system functions operate according to requirements, as well as the System Usability Scale (SUS) method to assess the system’s usability level based on user perceptions. The results indicate that the developed e-commerce website is capable of integrating product management, shopping cart, transactions, and the presentation of Kampung Kopi’s profile information into a single structured platform. All system features were declared to function properly based on Black Box testing, while the usability evaluation using SUS produced an average score of 78.25, which falls into the “GOOD” category. Therefore, the system is considered feasible to be used as a digital marketing medium and to support the expansion of Kampung Kopi Gunung Tambal’s product sales reach.
