Abstract

The development of information technology has driven the digitalization process in various sectors, including service industries such as barbershops. Setyo Barbershop previously faced challenges in manual reservation processes, which led to unmanaged queues and irregular schedules. To address these issues, a web-based online reservation and service management system was developed using the Waterfall method, encompassing requirements analysis, UML design, and implementation using the Laravel framework. This system provides a modern interface that allows customers to make independent bookings by selecting barbers, services, and schedules in real-time. System testing using the Black Box Testing method showed results that met expectations, where all functionalities ranging from the login process, service data management, and barber schedule management to the customer ordering system were able to process inputs and produce outputs accurately. Furthermore, user experience evaluation using the System Usability Scale (SUS) yielded an average score of 82.34, placing the system in the "Acceptable" category with an "Excellent" rating (Grade B). This is evidenced by the reduction in queue waiting times and the elimination of double- booking risks that previously occurred in the conventional system. The presence of this system simplifies the overall service management at Setyo Barbershop.
