Abstract

This research develops an integrated web-based gym management system using the Laravel framework, incorporating a feature for monitoring member progress. The study addresses the need to improve gym management efficiency and enable systematic tracking of fitness development, which has traditionally been managed manually. Employing the waterfall method and utilizing literature review, observation, and interviews for data collection, the system is designed using MVC architecture, MySQL database, and responsive interfaces crafted with Blade and Tailwind CSS. Testing with black box and System Usability Scale (SUS) methods confirms the system’s functional reliability and user-friendly experience. This system is equipped with features for managing member and trainer data, recording and tracking workout history, and monitoring fitness progress. The results show that the developed system is able to manage gym data and monitoring member progress in an integrated manner, operating in accordance with functional requirements based on Black Box Testing and the System Usability Scale (SUS) with an average score of 85.7. Overall, the system provides benefits in simplifying gym management and supporting objective monitoring of member training progress
