Abstract
The need for affordable daily necessities among students and the difficulty of reselling used items after graduation have created a significant market gap. In addition, the general public also has a similar need to buy and sell used items that are still in good condition. This study aims to develop an online marketplace as a solution to these problems, with a focus on promoting sustainable practices in buying and selling used items to support the circular economy. This platform is designed to facilitate the buying and selling of used goods through the integration of Location-Based Service within a 1-10 km radius, allowing users to find and purchase items quickly, saving time and reducing shipping costs. The marketplace was developed using the Laravel framework, which was chosen for its scalability, security, and speed. Laravel's main features, such as MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture, ORM (Eloquent), and CSRF (Cross-Site Request Forgery) protection, make the code more structured, manageable, and secure. Black Box testing results show that the marketplace system features function as intended. Based on SUS testing, the average score was 77.25, placing the system in the “Good” category according to adjective ratings and at grade level C. Therefore, it can be concluded that the system has a good level of usability and is suitable for use.
