Abstract
Science learning at the Elementary School or Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) level, especially the topic of human body organs, still faces several challenges. Such as low student learning interest and limited learning media used in the classroom. The learning process that relies heavily on textbooks causes students to become easily bored and less motivated to understand the material. This study aims to develop and educational game for introducing human body organs based on Construct as an alternative learning medium for fifth- grade students at MI PSM Gedoro. The development method used is the Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC), which consist of initiation, pre-production, production, testing, beta, and release. Data were collected through interviews with Natural Science teacher to identify learning needs and student characteristic. The developed game presents learning materials on the human respiratory and digestive system, complemented by interactive game features such as card-matching and adventure games. System testing was conducted using blackbox testing, while usability testing employed the System usability Scale (SUS) method. The test result show that all game features function properly, and the game achieved an average SUS score of 75.113, which falls into the acceptable and good categories. Therefore, this educational game can be used as a supporting learning medium to improve students’ interest and understanding of human body organ materials in science learning.
