Abstract
The development of information technology is currently experiencing very rapid progress. Information technology provides many benefits in the field of government, for example the development of village websites and the implementation of digital information systems. The problem of mail services at the Lemahbang Village Office where the process of submitting letter requests is still done manually by coming directly to the Village office, which makes the service less efficient. This letter request service system is designed to address the problems in Lemahbang Village. This research method uses the Waterfall approach with the stages of analysis, design, development, testing and maintenance. The developed system implements the MVC Laravel architecture, with a MySQL database. This system also applies the FIFO algorithm to address the management of letter requests so that services can be carried out fairly and structured. This system was tested using Black-Box Testing and System Usability Scale (SUS) testing. The results of the study indicate that the Lemahbang Village Letter Request Service system has been successfully created and provides letter request features, village information, village news and several other features that can facilitate the village service process. The test results using the Black-box method show that the system features have run according to their functions without any problems or bugs and the test results using the System Usability Scale (SUS) obtained a score of 84.5 with a rating of "Good" which is in the "Acceptable" category or can be said to be appropriate and acceptable to users.
