Abstract

Child development in the modern era requires facilities that are not only safe and educational but also integrate spiritual values. The design of a Child-Friendly Kids Community Hub Based on Islamic Values in Surakarta emerges as a solution to the limited holistic child development facilities. This project is located on Jl. Ki Hajar Dewantara, Jebres District, with a site area of 3,750 m². The design integrates two main principles: child-friendly design with safe materials and scales according to children's anthropometry, Islamic architecture elements through mihrab corners, Islamic geometric patterns and calligraphy walls. The facility serves 60-90 children aged 3-5 years with the Tarbiyah Integrated Learning program that develops spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and social aspects. A community-based approach encourages active participation of families and communities. This design is expected to become a model learning center that shapes Muslim generations with noble character, creativity, and good morals.
