Abstract

The Department of Tourism, Youth and Sports noted that there are more than 50 beaches that adorn Pacitan Regency, accompanied by natural conditions that are still pristine with various tourist destinations. The beauty of Pacitan's beaches can be a unique tourist attraction. Pacitan boasts a variety of tourist destinations with the potential to be developed and managed by the local government, one of which is Pancer Door Beach, located near the city. According to data from the Pacitan Regency Statistics Agency (BPS), the number of tourists to Pancer Door Beach reached 80.677 in 2022, 85.307 in 2023, and 108.776 in 2024. From the data, it is concluded that the number of tourists visiting Pancer Door Beach continues to increase every year. The increasing number of tourists requires the provision of integrated facilities that support the needs of visitor activities. Currently, the facilities available at Pancer Door Beach are not adequate enough to support the function of visitor needs, so the steps to develop the tourist area are carried out by designing supporting facilities that can accommodate activities on the beach, namely recreational facilities and sports facilities at Pancer Door Beach. The design of One Place to Gather: Pacitan Youth Community Center is a solution to increase the attractiveness and quality of tourism for domestic and foreign tourists. To maintain the balance between the relationship between humans and nature, this design applies the Biomorphic Architecture approach. In its application, it applies organic form structures and uses local materials, which are beneficial for energy efficiency which is environmentally responsible. The building is designed with ecological aspects in mind to create an environmentally friendly architecture, thus providing benefits for the building itself and the environment in the future.
