Abstract

In urban areas, fires occur when a hazard meets a vulnerable area or community with low capacity. One crucial step is fire disaster management, which begins with determining the level of fire risk. Risk analysis was conducted using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, using three parameters: hazard, vulnerability, and capacity. Research focused on Boyolali District revealed that open fires were the biggest trigger for fires, with a 63.33% risk factor for hazards. Population density was the largest factor for vulnerability, with a 63.33% risk factor, and training and outreach was the largest factor, with a 59.10% risk factor for capacity. Based on these three parameters, the fire risk analysis in Boyolali District revealed that all villages/sub-districts within the district had a low risk level.
