Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the distribution of areas that have the potential to have flood disasters and the parameters that influence flood disasters in Karanganyar Regency. This research method uses a quantitative descriptive method. The object of this study is the flood disaster in Karanganyar Regency. The method of analysis is a tiered quantitative approach and is processed using the ArcMap software application. The results of the rainfall parameter study which is a sub-district that has the potential to be very prone to flooding is Mojogedang Sub-district with a value of 2,913-3,135 mm/year and the lowest between Colomadu and Jatipuro Sub-districts of 2,024-2,247 mm/year. Parameters influencing flood disasters in Karanganyar Regency based on river density Gondangrejo Sub-district, north of Mojogedang, and south of Jumapolo and Jatipuro have very good river density with a density value of >3.10 Km2, high risk of flash floods during heavy rain. Meanwhile, in the northeastern part there is Jenawi District, which has a very poor to moderate density with a density value of 1.44 km2, with a lower risk of flooding but the potential for drought.
