Abstract

Cyberloafing is an activity that uses the company's internet for activities that have nothing to do with work. This happens because of low self-control and organizational commitment possessed by employees. This research aims to obtain empirical evidence about the influence of self-control and organizational commitment on cyberloafing behavior in employees. The sample selection method was carried out using a saturated sampling method from all employees of Company X Karanganyar with a total of 71 employees, both male and female, so the total sampling was 71 respondents. The data analysis method in this research uses multiple regression analysis (SPSS 25). The results of the research show that there is a simultaneous and significant influence exerted by the variables self-control and organizational commitment on cyberloafing behavior with a significance value of 0.00 (<0.05), and there is a negative influence of self-control on cyberloafing with a significance value of 0.03 (<0.05) and organizational commitment to cyberloafing with a significance value of 0.00 (<0.05). With an r-square value of 0.315, this means that the influence of self-control and organizational commitment on cyberloafing is 31.5% and the rest is influenced by other variables outside the research.
