Abstract
Electronic book is a reliable source of information fot student because its easy to access. Before we can access the electronic books, the book must have been published. For publishing an electronic book, a contract between publisher and writer is a must to prevent any violation of law. When making a contract, its need to be following the rule of civil law (Undang-undang Hak Cipta). In contract between PT.Elex Media Komputindo and writer Agus Supangat for publishing his writing in digitally or called electronic book titled BUMI MERDEKA : ANTARTIKA, the contract already following the rule within the Copyright Civil Law
