Abstract
Legal protection is one of the efforts to protect and guarantee children's rights in the influence of the circulation of alcoholic beverages by providing preventive legal protection and repressive legal protection. The problem in this study is how the legal protection efforts for children's rights in the circulation of alcoholic beverages in Pati Regency and the obstacles faced by the local government and law enforcement officers in Pati Regency in implementing legal protection for children's rights in the circulation of alcoholic beverages in Pati Regency. The purpose of this study is to determine how the legal protection efforts for children's rights in the circulation of alcoholic beverages in Pati Regency and the obstacles faced by the local government and law enforcement officers in Pati Regency in implementing legal protection for children's rights in the circulation of alcoholic beverages in Pati Regency. The method used in this study is an empirical juridical approach to analyze the form of legal protection and the obstacles faced by the local government and law enforcement officers in Pati Regency in implementing legal protection for children's rights in the circulation of alcoholic beverages. The results of this study are 1) Showing the form of legal protection efforts for children's rights in the circulation of alcoholic beverages which are divided into two aspects, namely preventive and repressive legal protection. Preventive legal protection is regulated through the Law on Child Protection and the Pati Regency Regional Regulation, as well as through socialization and education for children. 2) The implementation of legal protection certainly encounters various obstacles. In this case, to identify the obstacles faced during the implementation of the fulfillment of legal protection, namely environmental factors with many alcohol consumers, individual factors that are less open about the problems faced, alcohol is considered a culture, many places sell alcohol without a permit.
