Abstract

This final project discusses the structural design of a 7-story lecture building located in Dolok Sanggul, North Sumatra, based on SNI 1726:2019 and SNI 2847:2019 standards. Since the area is classified as an earthquake-prone zone, structural design must consider resistance to seismic loads. The structure is designed using a Special Moment Resisting Frame System (SMRFS), including load analysis and the calculation of structural elements such as beams, columns, slabs, stairs, and bored pile foundations. Utilizing ETABS and AutoCAD software, the design aims to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with technical standards, contributing to the development of educational infrastructure in the region
