Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of mudharabah, musyarakah, and murabahah financing on the level of profitability of Return on Equity (ROE) in Islamic banking in Indonesia during the period 2018-2023. The data used is secondary data from the annual financial statements of several Islamic commercial banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analysis method used is panel data regression with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) approach, which is selected based on the results of the Chow and Hausman tests. The results of the study show that partially mudharabah, musyarakah, and murabahah financing have no significant effect on ROE. Meanwhile, the Capital Ratio (CRATIO) variable has a positive and significant effect on ROE. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.889 indicates that the model is able to explain 88.91% of the variation in ROE. These findings indicate that the capital structure plays a greater role in determining the profitability of Islamic banks than the type of sharia-based financing.
