Abstract

PDAM Tirta Makmur needs to review the need for clean water in Sukoharjo Regency, especially in the Kartasura District area in order to meet water needs. In 2023, a new reservoir facility was built which is used to store and connect water from wells to make it more efficient to be distributed to the community. With the construction of the new reservoir, it is necessary to conduct an engineering economic cost analysis to determine the water price tariff using an engineering economic approach (Future value). The results of the study obtained a prediction of water demand for Kartasura District in 2033 of 94,235 liters / second, a maximum daily demand of 113,082 liters / second, and a peak hour discharge of 141,352 liters / second, and the results of the cost analysis with an engineering economic approach (Future Value) MAAR = 6% and BCR = 1, obtained a price tariff of Rp. 465 / m3 and IRR = 6%. This research is expected to be a reference in sustainable clean water planning in the Kartasura District area.
