Abstract
Hypertension is a condition in which blood pressure is ≥ 140/90 mmHg. According to the 2018 Riskesdas, the prevalence of hypertension in Central Java Province reached 37.57%. One of the regions, Wonogiri Regency, had 35.9% of hypertension patients re-ceiving health services. Hypertension is increasingly common in the productive age group, and this number continues to increase year after year. This study aims to analyze the relationship between dietary patterns and blood pressure in the productive age group at Wonogiri Health Center 1. This is a quantitative observational study with a cross-sectional approach. The study population consists of all visitors, both hypertensive and non-hypertensive, who underwent examinations at Wonogiri Health Center 1, with a total of 121 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Univariate analysis was conduct-ed using SPSS through the Frequencies and Descriptive Statistics menus, while bivariate analysis was performed using the Chi-Square test. The results of the study indicate that dietary patterns, particularly meal frequency, are associated with blood pressure among the productive age group at Puskesmas 1 Wonogiri (p-value = 0.001). However, the type of food and the amount of food in the dietary pattern did not show a significant associa-tion with blood pressure.
