Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational culture with organizational commitment among members of the Psychology Department's Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) at UMS. This study employs a quantitative correlational approach. The sample consists of 105 participants, selected using purposive sampling. The instruments used include scales for job satisfaction, organizational culture, and organizational commitment, which have been validated and tested for reliability. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques to examine the contribution of each independent variable to organizational commitment and to test hypotheses. The analysis results indicate that there is a relationship between job satisfaction and organizational culture with organizational commitment among UKM members, both partially and simultaneously. These findings indicate that the higher the job satisfaction and organizational culture perceived by an individual, the higher their organizational commitment. This is supported by the results of the major and minor hypothesis tests. The major hypothesis calculation yielded a sig value of 0.000, which is below 0.05, and an R value of 0.593. There is a positive relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment among SME members, with a significance level of 0.000 (below 0.01) and a Pearson correlation coefficient of 0.721. Additionally, there is a positive relationship between organizational culture and organizational commitment among SME members, with a significance level of 0.000 (below 0.01) and a Pearson correlation coefficient of 0.745.
