Abstract

This study aims to understand public perceptions of news coverage on the booster vaccine in Pasar Kliwon District, Surakarta. The research employs a quantitative descriptive approach using the survey research method. The study explores the perceptions of Surakarta residents regarding booster vaccine news. The majority of respondents are aged ≤ 25 years (84%), female (84%), high school graduates (49.4%), and housewives (51.9%). Most respondents, regardless of age, gender, education, and occupation, tend to agree or strongly agree with the booster vaccine news coverage. The conclusion drawn is that an individual's characteristics—age, gender, education, and occupation—play a role in shaping their perception of booster vaccine news.
