Abstract
The tourism sector is an important source of income for a region or area with the support of local and foreign tourists. The tourism sector in Indonesia has regained momentum after the Covid-19 disease hit the world in 2020. Indonesia is very diverse in terms of tourist destinations both in big cities and regions, one of the areas with a fairly diverse choice of tourist destinations is in Wonogiri Regency, as evidenced by this momentum, visitors coming to Wonogiri Regency have experienced an increase in the number of tourists. Wonogiri Regency is very diverse in terms of tourist destinations ranging from beaches, nature tourism, to cultural experiences, which continue to be intensively promoted by the Wonogiri Regency Government. However, to optimize this momentum, it is necessary to develop infrastructure support. One of the vital infrastructures for the tourism sector is the mode of transportation such as Wonogiri Train Station. Seeing the current conditions, the facilities for the station are considered inadequate, which requires development of the accessibility system, facilities, accommodation, operations and other supporting services. The development that will be planned for Wonogiri Station includes aspects of green architecture, conservation of the site environment, a combination with the Transit Oriented Development (TOD) concept, energy efficiency, and creating an inclusive environment for all visitors. This development will improve the status of Wonogiri Station as an information center, as well as a mode of transportation to improve the regional economy and public convenience.
