Abstract

The rapid development of technology in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 encourages the importance of technological integrity in the world of education, one of which is in the field of robotics. Robotics learning is considered to improve students' critical and creative thinking skills, in line with the need for adaptive human resources. However, although the use of robotic technology in Indonesia is increasing every year, its application still lags behind other Asian countries. In order to support the acceleration of robotic technology, the Indonesian government began to encourage synergy to form a robotics society. Surakarta, as a city that has officially become a smart city since 2021, shows its commitment to technology development through the establishment of Solo Technopark which shows the city's digital competitiveness. Based on these conditions, the purpose of this design is to design a robotic school with a smart building approach that can support technology-based learning while facilitating students in developing skills in the field of robotics. The problem discussed is how to integrate the concept of smart building to create an environment that supports student development. The design process through data analysis, comparative studies with similar objects and literature studies. The design results include theoretical and practical classrooms, laboratories, robot testing rooms and supporting facilities such as competition areas, robot displays and robot souvenir shops.
