Abstract
This research aims to determine the implementation of the mind mapping learning strategy in develpong multiple intelligence in the PPKn subject for class VIII B students at angkasa Lanud Adi Soemarmo midle school, namely how to implement it, the result in implementing the strategy, and the obtacles and obtasles encountered when implementing it. This research uses a qualitative descriptive design. The subject of this research were the principal of Angkasa Midle School, civic education subject teacher and class VIII B students of Angkasa Midle School. The result of this research show that in implementing mind mapping learning strategies to develop multiple intelligence, students are enthusiastic about participating in the current PPKn learning procces because in this learning the teacher not only reads, lectures and takes notes but also gives group assgnments that enable students to work and exchange ideas together. Using mind mapping learning strategies for class VIII B students at SMP Angkasa can help develop students multiple intelligence. As was carried out during this lesson, we know that the mind mapping learning strategy is learning that use symbols or images as a subtutute for written notes which are remembered more quickly. Multiple intelligence was developed using a min mapping strategym first linguistic intelligence, spatial intelligence, kinesthetic intelligence, interpersonal intelligence, and environmental intelligence.
