Abstract
The life of the Inmates (WBP) in prison is very different from life outside prison, changes experienced in prison such as loss of freedom and increasingly limited rights. Overall, self-compassion, resilience, and social support work together to help WBP, To overcome the difficulties they face. By having a good level of self-compassion, they can more easily accept themselves, which can increase their resilience in facing challenges with social support from the surrounding environment. This will strengthen and enable WBP to adapt more easily and bounce back after times of difficulty and prepare them to return to society as better individuals and not repeat mistakes. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was a relationship between self-compassion and resilience with social support in inmates at the Class IIA Sragen Correctional Institution. This study used a Purposive Sampling technique. The sample in this study was 40 inmates at the Class IIA Sragen Correctional Institution. This study used a quantitative correlational method. This study used three scales, namely the Self Compassion, Resilience, and Social Support scales. The data analysis method used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The hypothesis of this study is that there is a relationship between self-compassion and resilience with social support for inmates at the IIA Sragen Penitentiary. The results of statistical testing show that the results of the study indicate that if the Inmates of the IIA Sragen Penitentiary have high Self Compassion and Resilience, it will affect Social Support.
