Abstract

Developments in the digital era, including the movie industry, have brought about changes, especially in people's interest in reading, especially with the audio-visual art offered by movies. The movie industry produces a wide variety of movies, such as television series, documentaries, and others. One of the popular series is “Stranger Things”. This series attracts a lot of attention from the audience in terms of visual and audio. The theory used is Uses and Gratifications with the method used is descriptive quantitative. The research population is followers of the movie watching friends community in the X application who have watched the television series. Data collection techniques through questionnaires and data analysis techniques using paired sample t-test. The results of this study indicate the level of satisfaction of the audience who watched “Stranger Things”, with a mean value on GS (motive) of 67.00 and a mean value on GO (satisfaction) of 68.37. That is, it shows that this series gives satisfaction to the audience.
