Abstract

This study aims to develop an appropriate business development strategy for Warung Bu’e Mas Bro to improve competitiveness and business sustainability in the culinary sector. This study provides practical benefits in designing data-based and scientific strategies, as well as an academic reference for the application of SEM and BMC methods in the context of the creative industry. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and distributing questionnaires to 97 respondents. The analysis method used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of SmartPLS software to analyze the relationship between variables, and Business Model Canvas (BMC) to formulate applicable business strategies. The results of the analysis show that the variables of facilities, layout of the dining area, service quality, product quality, and price have a significant influence on purchasing decisions. The proposed strategies include improving facilities, improving layout, improving services, menu innovation, and effective price promotion strategies.
