Abstract

Teaching and learning activities organized by educational institutions often rely on conventional learning that utilizes textbooks as learning media. However, this model of learning needs to be replaced with innovative new approaches that leverage technology as a medium for delivering content. The development of learning media should be based on the needs of the users, in this case, the students. The material being developed focuses on introducing ASEAN culture. This learning media aims to foster pride in one's own culture while also recognizing the cultures of other countries. By using the MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) model, the development of learning media becomes more structured and clear. This learning media is tested through validity and usability tests to ensure its suitability as a medium for delivering content. The validity test is conducted using questionnaire scores evaluated by subject matter experts and media experts using a Likert scale. Meanwhile, the usability test is conducted on 17 students as participants. The research results indicate that the validity test of the developed media received a score of 0.80, which is categorized as valid. Additionally, the usability test yielded a score of 67,64, which falls into the Marginal high category with a grade scale of D.
