Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of using eight-hole injectors and open filters on the performance of a 150 cc four-stroke motorcycle engine with various types of sparkplugs, namely standard, platinum, and iridium. The parameters tested include torque, power, and specific fuel consumption (SFC), with Pertamax RON 92 fuel. Testing was carried out using a dynotest tool and a fuel consumption tester. The results show that the iridium sparkplug produces the highest torque of 25.085 Nm at 3206.5 rpm and the highest power of 12.5 HP at 4490 rpm. The iridium sparkplug has the most efficient fuel consumption with a SFC of 0.137148 kg/HP.hour. It can be concluded that the iridium sparkplug improves power and torque performance, and fuel consumption is more efficient than the standard and platinum sparkplug variations.
