Abstract

Educational games are very interesting to develop because they are one of the learning media for children. Especially for children with special needs who require assistance from others and media to develop their abilities. Children with special needs, such as dyslexia, are those who experience difficulties in reading, writing, or spelling, and have trouble following the learning methods of children their age due to their condition. Special Elementary School is a school for children with special needs, this school demands simplicity and satisfaction, which can certainly be accomplished with the help of technology. The purpose of this study is to create a game construct application as an alternative medium for learning the alphabet. This research uses the Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC) method, with the game created using Construct 3 as the software for game development, and Figma as a component in the game. Testing will use the black box method. The results of this research is that the created game can be used as an alternative learning medium at Special Elementary School, so that during the learning process, in addition to conventional learning methods, simulation games can also be used as a learning medium.
