Abstract
Learning methods in the world of education are one of the main factors that influence a teaching and learning process in an educational institution. Learning methods have an effect on improving student learning achievement, in the learning process in each educational institution can use various learning methods that are considered appropriate and in accordance with needs. Learning methods are a way used to implement plans that have been prepared and designed as well as possible to achieve the desired learning objectives. The mulazamah learning method has existed since ancient times and is included in the traditional learning method. Mulazamah is a natural learning system and has been used by scholars from generation to generation. Mulazamah has proven to be the most effective method in learning sharia science, resulting in highly competent scholars. Some contemporary scholars who have undergone the mulazamah method include, Shaykh Muhammad Nashiruddin Albani, Shaykh Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah bin Baz, Shaykh Muhammad bin Shalih Utsaimin, and several other scholars who are known to be very proficient in the field of sharia science so that they become references for Muslims. The Mulazamah method focuses on one discipline and aspects of mastering books or materials in depth and in detail. The Mulazamah method requires someone to master basic science first, basic science as a key that is a tool to open the doors of science that is to be entered. Once the basic key is in hand, students will find it easier and faster to deepen the knowledge they want to master. The word Mulazamah is a derived word (ism masdar) from laazama-yulaazimu-mulaazamatan which has a root word in the form of biasa-yalzamu-luzuman, meaning to live and settle. While the word mulaazim is its isim fa'il (the word actor/subject) which means someone who accompanies, accompanies, and assists. This method also makes students or makes Ahlul Ilmi have stages of learning, namely from the simplest stage, the most basic, to the highest stage or the wider Scope of Islamic Education.
