Abstract
This research is motivated by how important it is to eradicate al-qur'an illiteracy in the neighborhood so that people can read al-qur'an properly and correctly. This is done so that the surrounding community who cannot read the Qur'an can attend TPQ so that they can read the Qur'an with the condition that they are routine in studying at TPQ with the intention of Allah will get maximum results. In this study, the subject matter is related to how the AsSalam TPQ Program in Eradicating Qur'anic Illiteracy and the Obstacles to the As-Salam TPQ Program in Eradicating Qur'anic Illiteracy in RW III Dukuh Srebegan, Ceper District, Klaten Regency. This research is a field research using a qualitative phenomenological approach. The data source comes from TPQ As-Salam teachers, as well as additional data from journals and documents. Data collection was carried out using interviews, observations, and document studies which were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The process of checking data through triangulation techniques and sources. The results showed that the TPQ As-Salam program in eradicating Qur'anic illiteracy 2 in RW III Dukuh Srebegan, Ceper District, Klaten Regency has succeeded where several TPQ As-Salam students have graduated. It has been said to be successful because it reaches the target of TPQ As-Salam and there is always an evaluation every day to make TPQ AsSalam progress and develop. The obstacles of the TPQ As-Salam Program in Eradicating Blindness to the Qur'an are the different abilities of the students. The existence of students who rarely leave, the ability to sound out difficult letters, insufficient time and lack of teaching staff because the teachers at TPQ As-Salam have main jobs other than at TPQ AsSalam.
