Abstract
Effective asset management plays a crucial role in maximizing the potential of any organization by enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness. In the educational context, managing assets such as learning equipment, technological devices, and physical facilities is essential to support a high-quality learning process. At SD Negeri Keden 2 Sragen, asset management is still conducted manually, leading to various issues such as inaccurate record-keeping, difficulty in tracking asset locations and conditions, and delayed access to information for decision-making.This research aims to develop a web-based asset management system to address these challenges, with the goal of improving accuracy in record-keeping, enabling effective asset tracking, and providing quick access to information. The research follows the waterfall methodology, encompassing stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and evaluation, followed by maintenance. The development of this system utilizes platforms such as the Laravel framework, Laragon as the database management system, and CSS Bootstrap for the user interface. The expected outcome is a system that facilitates real-time asset recording and tracking, thereby increasing transparency and accountability in asset management. In addition to testing through Blackbox Testing and performance evaluation using JMeter tools, this system is also evaluated using the System Usability Scale (SUS). The SUS provides a simple, yet reliable method to measure the system's usability by gathering feedback from end-users through a standardized set of questions. This method is essential to ensure that the system not only meets technical requirements but also provides a user-friendly experience. The result shows that this comprehensive approach to system testing can serve as a model for other schools looking to adopt technology in asset management, ultimately supporting the creation of more modern and efficient asset management practices in the educational sector.
