Abstract

Karang Taruna is one of the organizations engaged in the scope of the village that embraces young people to gain experience in social and cultural. This research aims to increase the level of modernization in the Karang Taruna information system so that it can be recognized and preserved in its application in the social and humanitarian fields within the village area. Currently, Karang Taruna activities are increasingly fading in the village area, along with the development of human growth and social activities making Karang Taruna irrelevant to the lifestyle of the digital era. Development of information systems using the Agile method because the adaptive type is the main reason for use. The agile method has 5 stages including: planning, design, implementation, testing, and socialization of information systems. The system was built using the WIX web-builder application with the help of the WIX Editor which allows users to design web pages with various elements available using the Drag-and-drop method. And there are WIX Blog Add-ons to help web pages like blog posts, as well as to receive messages from visitors with Gmail intermediaries. Black-box testing results show that each page and feature runs well. The results of this study show that the agile method is considered very suitable for the use of the X youth organization information system, especially in the form feature that allows the youth organization to directly receive messages in the form of criticism and suggestions as evaluation material.
