Abstract
This research is to analyse and formulate strategies management for the Master of Sharia Economic Law Study Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. This will be achieved through the use of a PESTEL analysis approach, , Porter's Five Forces, Business Model Canvas (BMC) And a SWOT. The research method employed is descriptive qualitative with a case study, comprising two data sources: primary and secondary. These were obtained through interviews and documentation. The PESTEL assessment considers the external factors that influence programme development. Porter's Five Forces provides insight into the competitive landscape of the education industry, while the Business Model Canvas (BMC) outlines the core components that drive the operational effectiveness of the study programme. and the SWOT while analysis identifies the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats facing the study programme The analysis reveals that, despite facing challenges from other educational institutions and government regulations, the study programme's internal strengths, including the university's reputation, alumni network, and support from the Muhammadiyah Association, provide a competitive advantage. The expansion of the Islamic economic sector and increasing public awareness of sharia principles are supporting factors for programme development. The proposed strategies include increasing international cooperation, developing a relevant curriculum, and utilising technology in learning. This research is expected to provide constructive recommendations for the development of the Master of Islamic Economic Law Study Programme, as well as a contribution to improving the quality of education in the field of Islamic economic law in Indonesia.
