Abstract

Stunting is a serious health problem that is still often found in developing countries, including Indonesia. This condition is caused by chronic malnutrition and recurrent infections experienced by children during their early stages of development, negatively impacting their physical and cognitive development. This research aims to analyze and visualize stunting trends in Indramayu District, West Java, using data taken every six months for five years (2020-2024). Data was obtained from the Indramayu District Health Service, Margadadi Community Health Center, and Plumbon Community Health Center, with a focus on TB/U, BB/U, BB/TB under five compared with WHO standards. This research uses a descriptive quantitative approach with a longitudinal design, where analysis is carried out using Python software and the Pandas, Matplotlib, and Seaborn libraries for data analysis and visualization. The research results show the trend of stunting in Indramayu District over the last five years, with a comparison between two health centers. Visualization of line graphs, bar graphs, pie charts and area maps in both health centers are used to illustrate changes in stunting prevalence over time and compare results between measurement locations. It is hoped that this research will provide comprehensive insight into stunting conditions in the region and support the formulation of more effective intervention policies.
